With the hottest real estate market in the country we face challenges. Much like the ski towns we now have housing and rental prices at historically high levels and out of reach for some of our workforce. One of the challenges in the market is the intrusion of government in the construction defects law that makes the construction of condominiums prohibitive. This has had the effect of reducing the type and supply of housing units. We need to work on getting government out of the way of the market and we will see the housing market accommodate more folks who are currently without many options.
